Welcome to Feb 4, 2019 maintenance,

We are implementing calibration changes to most healing skills commonly used in GVG and War of Emperium clashes. We are doing thorough observations for these particular changes.

PLAYER VS PLAYER [PVP] & NORMAL MAPS
Includes changes to skill mechanics affecting characters in a PVP environment. Changes in this section applies to GVG and normal maps as well unless stated otherwise.


HEALING SKILL CHANGES
I'll Save You [HP Marriage Heal - Wedding Skill] [REWORK]
  • Increased SP cost to 30 SP [Previously 15 SP].
  • HP gained is based on the caster's Base VIT. New formula is [ (Base VIT / 450) * 10 ]%. Minimum is 1%, Maximum is 10%.
  • HP lost by the caster is unchanged (10%).
Sanctuary [REWORK]
  • Increased heal amount to SkillLv * 1000.
  • Added a flat bonus heal amount of 1% of the recipient's Max HP.
  • Decreased duration to SkillLv * 2 secs.
Learning Potion/Potion Research. Increased effectiveness of healing items by 7% per SkillLv [previously 5%].
Potion Pitcher Reduce healing amount on married characters by 50%. Penalty only applies when target's partner is on the same map.
Slim Potion Pitcher Reduce healing amount on married characters by 50%. Penalty only applies when target's partner is on the same map.
RANKED PVP LADDER CHANGES
  • Devotion disabled in ranked arena.
  • Killing a player heals your HP & SP in ranked arena.
  • Rating requirements for ranks changed.
GUILD VS GUILD [GVG]
Includes changes to skill mechanics affecting characters in a GVG environment like War of Emperium.


Added Ranked Guild Ladder. This ladder ranking is viewed in WOE Information NPC in Amatsu.

ITEMS
Includes changes to script codes to official Ragnarok Online and BlackoutRO-exclusive items (consumables, equipments, etc.)


HEADGEAR
Side Hat Adjusted VIT defense reduction bonus from 350 VIT = -200 VIT Def to 300 VIT = -150 VIT Def
Robo Ears Adjusted VIT defense reduction bonus from 30 VIT Def to 50 VIT Def
WEAPON
Eraser Increased drain rate from 0.5% to 2%. Decreased SP drain amount from 20%/60% to 10%/30%.

BUG FIXES
  • Fixed inventory size issues (returns it to 128 item block limit).

I don't really feel this mheal patch cause:
1. There's a lot of workaround to this that it'll be the same for certain guild/s anyway (spike, grim, etc.).
2. I said certain guild/s because there are around 3 small guilds in the server and ?? big guilds. Those small guilds will either need to get:
a. a dedicated linker to run PP; or
b. a dedicated bio for FCP.
Adding another devo for the pally sucks big time and where can we get the player?
3. Its an indirect buff to an already broken class - SG. You cant even run mheal linker + PP bio anymore. 1 FSK dispel to the bio and his devo group dies. Also, where's my SG nerf bruh?

To conclude this patch, all hail Apo greatest guild ever.

Hello Hryk,

As previously announced, the PvP Ladder System is in Beta Testing meaning it will change regularly in order to achieve some kind of balance between classes. This change was implemented because players can't use @die to come back to the map all healed up without losing points while other classes can just instantly recover from a duel because of their healing abilities while others don't have base int to heal back up earning them a free death and therefor also minus rating points.

that's why this ro has a ex medical eyepatch , to use heal ..
if they dont have they can use rental ..
It's not effective when you aren't base int. Either way, do you have any suggestions as for making this better still considering non-healing classes?

well people who knows about pvp understand what im sayin , and also they can use bacsojin card or randel card to increase heal , xmed + xsplit good combination to heal fast.
Don't worry, a plausible solution for this has been put on the table and we're currently reviewing it, thank you all for your feedback! This is what makes you guys as great as you're!

What is the GvG ladder based on, exactly? Is it points-based from kills/deaths? Or emperiums broken?

Hello euqalb,

GvG Ladder is based on exactly that you just pointed out as a guild, while Emperium Breaker Ladder focuses individually in the players that break the Emperiums.

After a day in PvP this actually makes thana useless in lk vs lk. Having one was already an advantage now its just broken. @Jack is with me
